I wasn't even really considering buying a place but some months prior I had
been so I was still getting listings regularly from Tomi Realty. I saw some
pictures and liked the look of this one place and purely out of curiosity
and just to kinda see what was out there in our price range I decided to
take a look. Tony met me at my convenience and it was love at first sight!
The place was an adorable townhouse in North Hollywood. Well, I decided
right then and there I wanted to buy the place so within hours Tony met me
again, this time with my husband. He loved it, too, and THAT DAY we got the
ball rolling! I had heard many horror stories about buying--the tediousness
of the paper work, the harrassment, the misery, the discomfort. Working
with Tomi and Tony there was NONE of that. Everything went INCREDIBLY
smoothly, they helped us to negotiate with the sellers, they answered every
single little question we had and they made sure to go over every detail and

Tony and Tomi are the best! They totally have the hat of finding the perfect house. Even in this tight market (just not many listing) they found us a six bedroom home that meet all of our requirements. They held our hand every step of the way and ran support for the loan officers and escrow companies. Now, this was no small feat. We had to sell my husband's condo, my house and get into our new house all within a matter of weeks. Talk about being able to make things happen. We recently purchased a condo in Glendale to use when we come to Los Angeles each month to study. My husband and I contacted Tomi and Tony via phone and email to give them an overview of what we needed and wanted. The duplication of our needs was tremendous and two weeks later we flew in for
the day to look at property. Within four hours we were making our offer and within four days had opened escrow. The entire process went seamlessly. One month later we flew in for a final walk through, signed the escrow papers and were the proud owners of a great little condo in Glendale.

After going into escrow twice and falling out of escrow twice we decided to change agents. We had heard of Tomi and Tony through a friend and decided to give them a call. From first speaking to them we knew that we had found an agent that was confident about the business and could help us get our house actually sold! We got back into escrow for the third and final time. Though the various situations we encountered along the way were difficult and the buyers put a lot of pressure on us for various things, our new found agent stood there with us through it and we got our house sold! Dear Tomi,
When my husband & I decided to buy a new home, I laughed to myself thinking about ever finding any house that could possibly approximate what we wanted. First of all, there had to be a great view, fairly secluded (no “curb appeal”), lots of trees, the master bedroom had to have a tree outside the window, at least 2 stories up and could not look out on a street, had to have a place for the dog to run, could not be a track home, not a new development, had to have lots of character and somewhat funky but with all modern conveniences, and lastly (and here is the real laugh) had to have a separate building or a room that could be soundproofed to build a recording studio/rehearsal space. Well, we thought, “Ok, this may take a bit of time.” But we really did not want to compromise our “dream home”.
I called Tomi Lyn up (my husband had been reading articles by her in a magazine for some time) and told her what we wanted. To my complete and utter amazement, she said, “I know just the place.” We went and looked at it the first day out, fell in love and bought it. The home has a built in recording studio, a tree outside the window of the 2nd story master bedroom window and _ acre of horse property!
Tomi has been not only very professional every step of the way but her meticulous attention to the details we would have never though of has made the entire experience unforgettable.
